From October 15 through December 7, anyone with Medicare can review their current  coverage and make changes for the upcoming year. 

Medicare plans can change every year—and so can your medical needs. Reviewing your plan  during Open Enrollment ensures you don’t pay more than necessary or miss out on valuable  benefits. This is your chance to make adjustments that fit your health and your budget. 

Not a Medicare member? This is your time to enroll! 

Before making changes, be sure to review your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC). This  document, sent in September by your plan, outlines changes for the upcoming year. If you have a  Medicare Advantage plan, it will include updates to your network of doctors and hospitals. 

During Open Enrollment, you can: 

• Switch from Original Medicare to Medicare Advantage—or vice versa • Adjust your plan to cover your preferred providers 

• Update coverage to match changing health needs 

• Review or change your Part D prescription drug coverage 

Compare plans carefully to see whether your current coverage still meets your needs or if  another option may be a better fit. 

If you’re unsure whether to keep your current plan or switch to a new one, contact your Medicare  representative for guidance on how the changes will affect you. Don’t wait too long—Open  Enrollment ends December 7. You’ll want your plan changes finalized before then to ensure a  smooth transition when new coverage begins on January 1, 2026.
