Have You Seen Changes with Your Medicare Plan? What do the best Medicare Agents on Daniel Island SC, recommend?
It’s important to review your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) to ensure your providers are still in-network and your necessary medications are still covered. If you didn’t complete a benefit review during the open enrollment period, you may now be seeing changes to your premiums, prescriptions, or provider network.

The Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)
A letter sent by your Medicare plan each September. It outlines any changes to your plan’s premiums, deductibles, copays, and coverage that will take effect on January 1 of the following year. If you have a Part D plan, the ANOC will also include changes to your drug formulary. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, it will also highlight changes to your network of doctors and hospitals.
This form is essential to review every year so you can make informed decisions about your healthcare coverage. If you notice any changes that are not beneficial to you, you’ll have the opportunity to make adjustments to your plan during the Open Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7).
If you didn’t receive your ANOC, contact your plan immediately. You can also reach out to our agents at American Benefit Services. We’re here to help you understand your ANOC and assist in making any necessary changes to your plan.
Some of the changes you may notice include increases in premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance for Part A and Part B. These increases may be modest, but it’s still important to account for them in your budget.
One significant update is the new $2,000 cap on Part D copays and coinsurance. Once you reach this limit, any additional prescription drug costs will be covered by your plan. You’ll also have the option to spread these costs over several months, making it easier to manage your budget.
Additionally, Medicare is now covering more behavioral health services and cardiovascular risk assessments. If you use these services, the expanded coverage can enhance your care and improve your quality of life. Be sure to review the details to see how these benefits apply to you.
There are many other changes to be aware of, so be sure to read through your ANOC carefully or speak with Medicare Agents on Daniel Island. Staying informed helps ensure your healthcare needs are met, your budget is manageable, and you avoid any surprises in the year ahead. Get in touch!
